Monthly Community Sangha Salon

June 17th—October 21st

Date details +

For August, our Community Sangha Salon discussion topic will continue with “One Year to Live.”

What would you do if you found out that you only had a year to live? Faced with that realization, what would you change? What might you choose to give up, and what (or who) would you bring closer?

Join us for a rich and provocative conversation that will delve into questions of priorities and distractions, and a discussion of what really matters.

It’s only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth — and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up, we will then begin to live each day to the fullest as if it was the only one we had.”

    — Elizabeth Kubler-Ross

Reading materials we will continue to explore in August include:

A Year to Live: How to Live This Year as If It Were Your Last, a book by Stephen Levine.

The Five Wishes (we hope to get some copies of this to share)
