Dear Santa Rosa sangha and friends,
The final details are being wrapped up. The moving crew successfully transported most Center items, including the shrine and banners, to the Masonic Lodge this weekend so we should be completely cleared out by the March 31 deadline. The lease contract is expected to be ready for signature in the next week or so. Looking forward to seeing you all this week at our new (interim) home!

Dear Santa Rosa sangha and friends,
Our amazing moving team consisting of Loretta Boyle, Jill Levesque, Ted Aff, Bill Collins and Malcolm Miller working hard all day yesterday at Davis Street were miraculously able to organize, pack and move practically all of the the Center’s items to the Masonic Lodge! This leaves minimal work left to be done and we do have volunteers who’ve agreed to be on hand for Saturday.
We offer heartfelt gratitude and deepest thanks to the moving team for their hard work and exertion in getting us to this point. And a similar expression of gratitude to all of you who willingly offered and/or showed up at the center in recent weeks to help as well. We could not have done this without everyone’s great energy and joyous exertion!
Thank you and hope to see you all next week at our new (interim) home at the Masonic Lodge!

Dear Santa Rosa Sangha,
Many heartfelt thanks go out to the great group of volunteers that made the Saturday “packing day” a huge success! Everyone’s cheerful attitude and willingness to do whatever was needed made the workload so much lighter.
Also good news, in that we officially have a key to the Masonic Lodge and are planning visits and some moving this week.
The Masonic Lodge is located on the corner of Beaver and 7th Street in Santa Rosa (855 7th Street).

Dear Sangha and Friends,
The terms of our agreement for the Masonic Lodge building as temporary space was finalized yesterday and the lease is being prepared for signing this week.
It looks like we can begin the packing and moving next weekend.
The current plan will be to meet at the center next Saturday, March 14 around 10am and assemble the necessary teams for the various locations to box and mark. If all goes well, we could begin moving boxes to the Lodge next Sunday.
We are also hoping to receive keys and set up a tour of the new space next week to begin the process of deciding on shrine location, storage, etc.

Greetings Santa Rosa Sangha and Friends,
A meeting was held yesterday, (Sunday, March 1) at the center to discuss the upcoming move to a new location.
A new temporary space nearby has been located and the process of signing a lease has begun, so the transition will be quite smooth, with little disruption of weekly activities. Moving to this interim space will allow us the time to continue the search for a permanent location and/or to determine if it might also be appropriate for the long-term.
We are required to be out of the Davis Street space by the last day of this month, March 31 2015.
This timeline is very doable, but will require some help!
- Small, medium and some large boxes are needed to begin the packing up process.
- Teams are being set up to arrange the packing and storage and this information will be forthcoming.
- Please contact Bob Henn at [email protected] to offer your assistance, or if you have the boxes but need to have them picked up;
- Otherwise, please bring boxes them to the center this week (March 2-9) during Wednesday regular sitting or contact Bob Henn for other options.
We are asking all members and friends to “step up to the plate” and make themselves available to help during this transition.
And if you have found yourself recently connecting with our center, we hope that you will be inspired to volunteer to assist us in this transition.
